I was recently asked to manage a team building afternoon for a GSK. The brief was to create a fun and engaging afternoon for 20 Anglo-American members of a project team who were coming to the end of an intensive week of work in London. After much deliberating and research I offered the client a number of options including the final choice – A GPS based Treasure Hunt. The eventual venue for the Treasure Hunt was the beautiful Kew Gardens. The bespoke Treasure Hunt was created by Wild Goose Events, who I can highly recommend. We were blessed with a gorgeous sunny Spring afternoon and my clients text on their way to the venue made me smile ‘Thank you for arranging the weather :-)’.
The teams were briefed by Wild Goose in the historic Cambridge Cottage, once home to the Earl of Cambridge – who was lucky enough to have Kew as his own pleasure gardens!
The 5 teams had 2 hours to follow the GPS trail around the gardens, answering questions and attempting pictorial challenges along the way.
The feedback from the teams and clients was that the afternoon was a resounding success ‘Thanks for an amazing day. The team are waxing lyrical about it!’
Here’s some snaps from the day:
